I am a resident of Weinland Park.and the President of the Home Owners association. I have a BS in engineering and I am a business owner. I am married and raising three wonderful children. I am very committed to the growth and development of this area and I have seen great things happening and even greater things on the horizon. Seven years ago when I moved into the neighborhood, nay sayers advised that I was making a mistake and it wasn’t in the best interest of my family. Since then I have seen a decrease in crime and an increase in police involvement, I have seen the establishment of community partnerships which continue to promote a strong healthy neighborhood, and I have encouraged friends to become homeowners in the area because I know the benefits of living here far out weigh the risk. Further solidifying my commitment to this Weinland Park, I have established a faith based organization that contributes to the neighborhood though a bread program , daily religious services, and we are working on the establishment of a child care facility. My extensive work with multicultural groups has given me an inside track on diversity and a commitment to (candidate went beyond 200 word limit)
